Welcome! I'm Michelle. Herbalist, Artist, and Consummate Student
What started over a decade ago as a resolve to nourish my body and my family's with nutritious, real food expanded my scope into herbalism, gardening, foraging, hunting, food history, and the ways in which nature has supported our ancestors to survive and thrive. They lived among these species, growing them, bringing them into their homes, and incorporating them into their stories and ceremonies. Studying and practicing herbalism has become a means of connecting with those stories, reminding us where we come from and what we're made of.
Today my family and I are cultivating a small suburban homestead, medicine garden, and food forest in the Texas High Plains. I hope that you can find a place here.
