These same protective phytochemicals help our own skin barrier, providing a gentle layer of protection from the elements while holding critical moisture in while renewing skin cells underneath.

Vesper is a very special brew of saps and resins from cottonwood buds, red copal, douglas fir, and sweetgum trees, long-infused and blended with nutrient-rich, barrier-fortifying, and antioxidant oils from green tea (camellia), prickly pear seed, pumpkin seed, carrot seed, jojoba, pomegranate seed, black cumin seed, and olive squalane, along with bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol-analogue without the sensitivity issues. This blend is ideal for restoring and protecting skin that is "wintering" through age or environment by maintaining skin elasticity and collagen resilience, limiting trans-epidermal water loss, and neutralizing free radicals. 

The scent of this serum is like walking through a deciduous forest in November, rich, dark, and sweetly-balsamic.
