In Greek mythos, Persephone is paradoxically both the goddess of the springtime and the queen of the underworld. She spends half the year on earth with her mother, Demeter, the goddess of the grain, bringing fertility and abundance to the earth. At the end of summer, she descends back down into the underworld to spend the rest of the year with her husband, Hades, ferrying the souls of the dead to their eternal rest. It is said that is Persephone's cyclical traveling between the growing world and the underworld is how we experience the changing seasons in our year and our lives. A reminder that all life returns to the soil.
Persephone Bath Soak is an ethereal and purifying blend of black lava salt, epsom salts, French green clay, activated charcoal, sweet annie, red cedar leaf, and a touch of essential oils of vetiver root and juniper berry.
This listing is for an 8 oz black tin of bath salts combined with a single cotton muslin bag for easy bath infusing with simple cleanup.
